hello lovely friends, it's raining outside and my window is cracked open. the sounds and the scent of rain are just really wonderful. i tried another solo trumpet one this week, listening back this meditation feels much more like a story being told/a whole journey and honestly gets a bit dramatic haha. i really enjoyed this meditation and found myself pretty lost in my own thoughts in a way that made me happy about this being a part of the coulou's cafe world. while setting everything up i recorded a whole behind the scenes video going through my technical setup, mental and musical prep too. unfortunately i'm a doofus and had the wrong audio cable running from the camera to the mic (honestly these two cables are identical so it was a real mixup) so ALLLLL the video clips i took for this bts video came out muted lols. sooo i'll probably try and just reshoot that next time or figure out some way to make all that muted footage useful. a great reminder that things can go wrong and that can suck and you can also really laugh about it too. not the end of the world, and mistakes are completely unavoidable! at the core, mistakes are a foundational part of your journey towards every moment you deem a success. so remember your biggest accomplishments are often held together by many of your biggest failures soooo when you mess up you're actually succeeding. and thats a real life fact. alsoooo will make a post about this but if you're in the new york area im in the works of doing a coulou's cafe popup thats a coffee shop with some vendors and i'll be playing meditations live while you can come by and hang and have coffee. will have more details on that soon soon and more frequent updates on my instagram page for that! ok thats everything. if you havnt had a chance to check out my recently released album, "only flowers because they fall," ill put the link right below.
