Not sure what a syllabus is or how it can help you? Why approaching a professor to go over the syllabus can be an important step for autistic students to set up academic success--from college transition expert Susan Woods. More resources at: [ Ссылка ].
The syllabus is an outline of the course that gives the ins and outs of what to expect. Autistic students should sit down with their disability specialist at the beginning of the semester and go over the syllabus. The syllabus can really help a student assess if a course is right for them. Going over the syllabus can provide a full understanding of the course requirements and students can decide ahead of time how they can best meet them.
