Well Toyota puts it into their iconic sportscar the a90 supra, so it says enough. On the other hand BMW literally throws it in every performance oriented cars of theirs across the range as well. I could have ended my video here,butttt lets get to some of the facts.
They started to produce it since 2015 and it is still going strong.
It has 382HP and 500nm of torque in its most powerful version. Also rumours say that it has more power than BMW claims it has..
It uses a B57 Diesel aluminium block which has the closed deck design
The block is Cast aluminium therefore lightweight baby and has good heat dissipation.
Valvetronic system helps the engine to breathe and BMW finally made a proper inline 6 turbocharged engine with this system.
It has Forged crankshaft and extremely strong and durable rods and pistons, so tuners be my guests..lets reach that 1000hp mark.
And finally Torque,torque everywhere thanks to the bore to the stroke ratio and the twin scroll turbocharger. Ow,and not to forget about the consumption, it is out of this world, name another engine with similar stats.
