This video covers my sixth day on the Continental Divide Trail, my first day back after my first zero. Today I finally leave Lordsburg for good and take off northward into the Gila National Forest!
I am carrying my tent, food, and all other necessities 3,100 miles from the Crazy Cook monument on the US / Mexico border in New Mexico through New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho before finishing at the Canadian border in Glacier, National Park! In 2021 I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail and I will be relying on the experiences I had to help guide me safely and happily cross the deserts, mesas, parries, basins, forest, and mountains of the American west.
