Discovered in the 19th century as a safer alternative to the extremely flammable rayon, viscose made its breakout as the patented first safe “artificial silk.”

Soft like cotton, but also silkyl, viscose is an affordable option that is generally blended with other fabrics.It is easily dyed and lends itself well to bright, vibrant colors. And don’t forget, not flammable like traditional Rayon.
