60 VR J class 2-8-0 were built by Vulcan from 1954, half burning oil the other half burning coal. The Castlemaine and Maldon Railway, as then titled, J549 puffs along the then couple of km of track reopened from Maldon. In 2004 the society reopened the branch all the way to Castlemaine. But, when I shot at them they could only propell from the station down the track and then steam back to Maldon.
