Ingredients :
● Luke warm Milk / water - 160 ml
● Yeast - 2 tsp
● All purpose Flour - 240 gms
● Sugar - 3 tbsp/ 40 gms
● Milk powder- 20 gms
● Butter - 2 tbsp
● Salt - a pinch
Method:
1. Warm ¼ cup milk, add 1 tbsp sugar, mix it and add Yeast. Leave it untouched for ten
minutes.
2. Combine all the ingredients and the yeast mixture together and knead into soft dough by
adding milk little by little.
3. Bring the butter to room temperature and mix it to the dough by taking a little at a time
and knead again till the dough is smooth and elastic.knead or 10 - 15 minutes.
4. Place the dough in a bowl and cover with cling film. Leave it untouched until it doubles. It
would take around 30 min to 1 ½ hr till it’s double in size
5. Press the dough lightly to remove air and roll out the dough to ½inch thickness on a
well-floured surface.
6. Use a cutter and cut out the desired shape and leave them on greased butter paper for
another 30 minutes.
7. Heat oil in a pan. Carefully lift the dough rings and fry them in hot oil on medium flame till
light golden brown in colour.
