Amid the chain of vandalisms that has been triggered across the globe post the Khalistan row in India, US NSC Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby on March 21 in Washington condemned the San Francisco incident in connect to the row and assured of a proper investigation. Kirby further assured of repairing the damage caused following the incident. “We certainly condemn that vandalism, it's absolutely unacceptable. State Department's diplomatic security service is working with local authorities to properly investigate. State department will work on infrastructure perspective to repair the damage,” Kirby said. Some pro-Khalistan protesters attacked the Indian Consulate in San Francisco, which also ended up causing some damage. Two ‘Khalistani’ flags were also installed at the inside of the Consulate premises. However, the flags were later removed. The attack came to the light under the same week when a video surfaced on the social media of some protesters pulling down the Indian flag at the Indian mission in London.
