The Nagaland Garo Tribal Council (NGTC), in collaboration with the Department of Tourism, hosted the Wangala Mini Hornbill Tribal Festival at Samaguri Village, Dimapur. Celebrating the post-harvest season, the event featured traditional Garo dances, music, and rituals, promoting cultural preservation and unity. L. Singsit, IPS (Retd), Former Director General, Prisons, and President of Kuki Inpi Nagaland, attended as the Special Guest, commending the festival's role in fostering harmony. Performances by Kuki, Dimasa, Mech Kachari, and Karbi cultural troupes added vibrancy to the celebration, which highlighted Nagaland’s rich tribal heritage and community spirit.
