The Municipality of Forio, Ischia -Italy
On the western side of the island, Forio is the largest municipality on Ischia: around 15,000 inhabitants (Forians) live on its surface area of approximately 13 square kilometres. Given its enviable position, where the sun shines all day, Forio is today the municipality on the island with the largest number of tourist facilities. Its territory is, then, a continuous succession of natural beauties and different environments: ranging from beaches to hills covered with vines, from spas to woods, from towers to churches; all always illuminated by the sun and mitigated by the pleasant sea breeze that characterizes its coast.
