Driving from Greenwich Connecticut to New York City is not an easy thing to do. New York is a major city for many reasons and it's hard not to be amazed by all the amazing things going on there! It takes about 1 hour to get there, and you will need to setup things like your hotels, rental cars and food during the stay. But you don't have to worry any longer!
Here are the top things you should do in Greenwich Connecticut before your big trip.
1. Have a great dinner in Greenwich, Connecticut
Greenwich is a city with a rich history and is one of the most sought out places in Connecticut. It was settled in 1640 and you can still see the great architecture there. There are many things to do here, but make sure you have a great dinner before enjoying everything else! Some cool places to eat at are The Kitchen Table or Whelk.
2. Visit the Bruce Museum at University of Connecticut
If you're a fan of art, then this place is as real as it gets. The Bruce Museum is a great museum that holds amazing masterpieces from many famous painters from all around the world! Be sure to visit the museum, as well as the sculpture park that has been built there.
3. The Greenwich Fair at Fairfield University
It's exciting to go to Fairfield University and check out the Fairfield Fair. This four day event is an amazing time for young people to get together and have fun. There are games, concerts, food tents and so much more! So go check it out!
4. The good old Yale University
What's a trip to New York City without checking out one of the country's best universities? Tour the campus and learn about this prestigious institution that has been producing great minds for centuries! Make sure you stop by Silliman College and Sterling Memorial Library, and visit Payne Whitney Gymnasium and the Yale University Art Gallery.
5. The Greenwich Aquarium
This place is a must see and you can't miss out on seeing it. It has more than 300 species that you can see and the sights and sounds of this place will be breathtaking.
