ABC's *The Rookie*, created by Alexi Hawley and directed by Liz Friedlander, stars Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, the oldest rookie officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. Based on a true story, Nolan leaves his small-town life to pursue his dream of becoming a cop in LA, where he's surrounded by younger rookies. The show also features Melissa O'Neil as Lucy Chen, Afton Williamson as Talia Bishop, Eric Winter as Tim Bradford, and Richard T. Jones as Chief Wade Grey. Additional cast includes Titus Makin as Jackson West, Alyssa Diaz as Angela, and Mercedes Mason as Captain Zoe Andersen.
