Police in Nyeri are investigating how robbers walked into an Equity Bank branch in Othaya posing as officials from the lender's head office and stole over Sh30 million Friday morning.
The three men had fake staff identification cards.
They are alleged to have entered the bank at around 6am through the rear entrance and told the branch deputy manager that they had been authorised to carry out auditing.
