(18 Mar 2019) Dutch police were hunting down a suspect after a shooting on a tram in the central Dutch city of Utrecht on Monday.
The mayor of Utrecht said that three people had been killed in an attack on a tram and added that a "terror motive" was the most plausible option.
Heavily armed anti-terror officers have gathered in front of an apartment block close to the scene.
Several officers were seen entering the property.
A few hours after the shooting, Utrecht police released a photo of a 37-year-old man born in Turkey who they said was "associated with the incident."
The photo showed a bearded man on board a tram, dressed in a dark blue hooded.
Authorities raised the terror alert for the area to the maximum level immediately after the shooting.
