This is some very brief but really nice footage of the "it's a small world" clock parade at Disneyland from New Years Day, 1988. Although it's less than 30 seconds and only shows a few clips of the second portion, the dolls, (as well as the beginning of the third portion, the time) it's still pretty rare as it's one of the oldest home videos I've seen on YouTube with the original sound. Of course this is because home video with sound was a luxury before the mid 80's and so there are only a couple sound films (1970, 1981) where you can hear the early clock parade. This was when they were still using the 1966 music with only a few small alterations, mainly the timing during each transition and the pitch of the bongs of the time. Also, this was when they had the shades of blue on the clock tower (1977-1992), as well as the earliest recorded instance I've seen of there being multiple Russian dolls in the clock parade. This was sometimes like that from probably the mid to late 80's until about 1993 or 1994. If could have been during previous years, but there is no evidence at the moment, and I have seen a couple 1986 videos with all 24 original dolls intact. I hope you enjoy this rare footage.
I do not own any of the audio or the video used in this video. All audio is owned by Disney and video is owned by Ken Lundy not me. Original video linked above.
