A walk in the Ochil Hills, starting and finishing in Alva. Leaving Alva Glen, we cross over Silver Glen and make our way uphill through the Ochil Hills Woodland Park to Rough Knowles at the top of Wood Hill. From there, we admire views all over the flat carse around the River Forth, towards Alloa and Grangemouth and the two bridges over the River Forth at Kincardine. Views from here extend towards the Wallace Monument and Stirling. We then trek to the top of Ben Ever, and return to Alva by a wide track on the east side of The Nebit and The Gowls, and back to Alva once again by Alva Glen. A great walk in a very scenic area of Scotland's central belt.
