If you travel to Canada 🇨🇦 or the USA 🇺🇸 with a Visitor Visa, the border office will ask you some questions to decide if you can enter the country:
1. Purpose of travel?
⚠️ The reason for the visit should be the same as what you put in your visa application (Visiting family, tourism, ...)
⚠️ If visiting family/friend, have the invitation letter ready (watch my YouTube video for full tutorial on how to write a proper invitation letter)
2. How long are you staying?
⚠️ Have your return flight reservation ready to show the officer.
⚠️ Always plan for a short-stay, and then you can decide to stay longer (make sure you do not over-stay).
3. Where do you stay?
⚠️ Always have your accommodation details ready to show to the officer (Hotel or Airbnb reservation, your host's address, ...)
4. Do you know anyone here?
⚠️ Have their name, contact info, and their status in Canada
5. Bringing money or food?
⚠️ Always declare if you are bringing any cash or food to prevent facing charges.
