Band directors teach students all kinds of percussion instruments, not just drums. PAS Classroom is a video series focused on quick and valuable tips and tricks for percussionists, drummers, music students, and (in particular) music educators. PAS Classroom is created and produced by the Education Committee of the Percussive Arts Society with contributions from other committees.

Michael Hamm is a member of the PAS Education Committee and a percussion director, music educator, and individual instructor. He currently teaches at Monticello Elementary School in Ohio. Michael also serves as the percussion representative on the Mid-East Performance Association (MEPA) Board of Directors.

Emma Kieselhorst is an educator and performer based in Dayton, Ohio. She recently finished her undergraduate degree in Music Education at the University of North Texas and will soon begin her Master's in percussion performance at Indiana University. She is a member of the PAS Education Committee and is a current member of the PAS Leadership Academy.
