One of three types of bosses may protect a dig site from capture. In order to do damage you need to obtain virus resistance (just like season 1). You are also recommended to attack with a certain squad type:
Mutant Guerilla - Missile
Mutant Mammoth - Aircraft
Mutant Bear - Tank

Adjustment of [Dig Site] Rules
Dear Commander,
To balance the experience throughout the season, we will release an update at server time [2024/08/29 05:00], adjusting the rules related to the season's [Dig Site]:
- The maximum number of [Dig Sites] that an Alliance can capture is adjusted from [6] to [4].
- The output of [Coal] from [Dig Sites] is increased by 50%.
- The output resources of [Dig Sites] are adjusted from [Coal] to [Coal] and a small amount of [Rare Soil]. The [Virus Resistance) required for the guardian monsters of level 1, 2, and 3 [Dig Sites] has been reduced.
Please note: For Alliances that have already captured more than 4 [Dig Sites], the capture status of these [Dig Sites] will not change immediately after the update.
