Here's the thing, we think we can all do better when it comes to medical education. We've sat through too many bad powerpoint presentations and watched too many professors bore audiences to sleep while teaching topics that could actually be life saving and super important! And why exactly is the vast majority of our medical education structured around the classroom and "just-in-case learning"? It's outdated, and we've had enough!
This is part 1 of a talk we gave recently at St. Lukes Ultrasound Symposium where we blab on about how we think medical education can be delivered better. Just to be clear, this is just our opinion, but we can't hold it in any longer. No more medical students or residents should suffer through the "old way". We think we have part of the solution, so here it is.
