The original owner of this 1987 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce assured me that the seats have never been removed, so I was hoping to find some treasures. What I found instead was a rusty spark plug, a pencil, and more Husky dog hair than I've ever seen in one place.
If you missed the first episode of this project, I go over the project plan, show you all the issues I want to address, and detail the engine compartment. Check that out here: [ Ссылка ]
In this second episode of the series, I dive in to the interior detail. While I'm sure general cleaning has been done before, this is probably the first time it's had this much attention. I take the seats out, vacuum and shampoo the carpets and mats, treat all the vinyl, plastic and rubber with a protectant, lubricate the seat tracks, clean and dress the leather seats, clean the inner door jambs, replace the door guides / stops, and clean up the trunk area. The before and after comparison is pretty dramatic!
I'm very happy with the results of this work, and the next episode will be the long-awaited exterior detail, in which I'll polish the paint, restore the black plastic trim, and complete the beautification of this classic Alfa.
Update: Part 3 is here! Check out the full exterior detail: [ Ссылка ]
