This appetizer gets the name Chicken Malal Kabab since malai is used. It tastes rich and creamy due to the addition of fresh cream, cashew paste and yogurt.
It makes a great dish to serve for parties or even simply enjoy a delicious meal with your family along with dahi coriander mint chutney, herbed garlic bread, a chilled salad for a simple dinner.

Ingredients :
500 gms Boneless Chicken (Breast Portion) cut into 2” pieces
1st Marinade :
1 tsp heaped Ginger Garlic Paste
½ tsp Salt (or as per taste)
2 tsp Lemon Juice
2nd Marinade :
3 tbsp Curd
2 tbsp Fresh Cream
3 tbsp Cashew Paste
2 Green Chillies (deseeded & finely chopped)
½ tsp Cardamom Powder
½ tsp Nutmeg Powder (Jaiphal Powder)
1 tsp White Pepper Powder
¼ tsp Garam Masala Powder
1 tbsp Coriander Leaves (chopped)
Other Ingredients :
1 tsp Ghee/Oil
1 tbsp Oil for grilling
Melted butter for basting on the chicken kebabs

Note : tsp is teaspoon
tbsp is tablespoon
Wherever Vegetable Oil is mentioned, it means I have taken Sunflower Oil
