Ranchi, a city of lakes, ponds and springs, is known for its beauty. Even today, there are dozens of places that very few people know about. One such spot is the capital's Churni Fall.
Churni Fall is located just 20 kilometers from Ranchi railway station. After going about four kilometers from Tatisilwe, a thin paved road leads to the right from a place called Bahia. After going one kilometer and turning to the left, the board of Churni fall can be seen. Then there is a small village and a little distance away is the Churni Fall. Your car can go right near the fall. From there, you can go straight to the fall. It is also known as Bahia Fall due to its close proximity to the Bahia.
What's special: While other picnic spots have lost their natural beauty by the interference and huge population of people, Churni is still completely in its true form. Beyond things like brick, cement, iron, etc., there is water, there is stone and there is forest. It has not been explored and thus not known to many.. Truly one 'Hidden Jewel of Nature'
The edge of water falls from the height and water is stored in about 150 square feet below. The depth of water below is just three to four feet which is completely stable. The underwater surface is clearly visible.
Why this place is a must visit: Most of the places in the capital are crowded, so if you are looking for some peaceful time with the nature away from city lights, this place is a must visit!!!
