I'm back, and today I'm talking to you about rubberhose characters and how to illustrate them. I've been lucky enough to draw a few of these styled characters for clients, and always enjoy working on them. They're fun, bouncy, and you can't help but smile when you're sketching them.
I'll show you some tips and tricks I've picked up along the years to make these look convincing, and show you how to make yours equally successful.
There is a combination of pencil skills and vector skills required to make these, so make sure you have some time free to practice both.
