There are certain places that we have visited on our travels where it almost seems wrong to film. Oradour-sur-glane, the beaches along the Normandy coast and the American war grave cemetery are sadly but a few and Culloden is no exception! Although arguably the battle ground has become a tourist attraction, it remains a place of rest for many fallen brothers in arms. We spend over 4 hours here but only film snippets of video. Our own moods change as we learn more about this terrible battle and we reflect on the devastation war brings, both way back in history and our own experiences, serving in the Armed Forces.
From Culloden we head back into the wild of Cairngorms, visit a very old bridge and find a park-up....and in not the best surroundings.
