If you have a Commodore 64 or Vic-20 power supply with the round plug on it, and you do not trust it, bring it to the World of Commodore where we can quickly check the 5 volt side, and see if it is alive, dead, or dangerous...then you can decide if you want it snipped or the spot...Rudy of @RudysRetroIntel made me a special one purpose meter that will read the voltage on the DC 5 volt side of the equation and immediately we will know what is what...these old supplies are not the best, to be sure, but they do keep on working...until they do not and then, they can hurt the computer that they are plugged into...see you at the world of commodore...November the 30th and December the 1st!
