When a patient no-shows and I have chaos energy I make things like this. Patients with #fibromyalgia #chroniclyme and #longcovid can often be helped significantly by #traditionalchinesemedicine .
These are very broad strokes and not meant to set expectations for anyone who’s a current patient or who is more complicated than a typical patient in any of these situations. Remission also looks a little different for everyone. Some folks will need to practice qigong daily to maintain their health, or take a low dose of herbal medicine on an ongoing basis (though I try to avoid this and if it’s necessary it’s usually to manage side effects of medication). Some people will have seasonal changes in their health. Some patients can only be helped with some symptoms, and rarely I meet someone I cannot help at all.
Also, life can throw wrenches in the best-laid plans. Sometimes a patient is in full or partial remission and things happen beyond their control (like getting sick again) that can cause their old symptoms to flare. This is usually still not too hard to get on top of, but it can feel really defeating.
My hope is to some day be able to publish on these results in a peer-reviewed journal, which could eventually lead to high quality evidence behind these practices. We see lives changed here all the time and I’d love to be able to share that with more people struggling with #chronicillness
