Located in the north-west of England, using a home-made 3-element Yagi (with no pre-amp or filters and situated a few feet above ground level on a portable tripod) pointed towards the G.R.A.V.E.S. radar station in southern France, and a Funcube Dongle Pro+ SDR as the receiver.
Meteors detected by this setup would be roughly somewhere over the Mediterranean, NOT Liverpool.
