Transformers Legacy Evolution continues to bring back the toys of yesteryear in new forms. Armada Megatron has a new version, a Leader Class toy who is a great homage to the original. Speaking of which, we put that toy up against the 2002 original Armada Megatron, who loves to say “Decepticons, attack!” Captain Kyle checks them both out and you decide which is better.

In Transformers Armada, Megatron was leader of the Decepticons and obsessed with finding the Minicons before Optimus Prime and his meddling Autobots did. Gotta catch ‘em all! While his vehicle mode vaguely resembled G2 Megatron, his robot mode had a new non-bucket style of head and he was primed (pardon the pun) to attach lots of Minicons to himself. This new version of Armada Megatron does come with the Leader-1 Minicon, but is similar in form and deco to the original release. Captain Kyle examines each one thoroughly to compare the features and more so you can decide which is better.
