The scene starts off with Lomaz talking about The Bagman (a French criminal) and Vauban's old working relationship. He explains that The Bagman used to work with Vauban (who was nicknamed Carnot) years ago. Lomaz explains to Tanner and Calita's contact how The Bagman cut one of Carnot's fingers off and then in turn Carnot cut one of his own fingers off right in front of The Bagman. Calita's contact starts to inquire if Carnot was a cop when Calita intervenes in the conversation. She mentions that all South Beach needs is two more cars and then they will have the 40k they need from this whole operation. She tells the gang that they are going to leave Nice soon when Lomaz interrupts and tells her of a job he wants done. Lomaz's idea is instantly shot down when Calita reveals a surveillance device that was planted in the room. While the device's origin is unknown to Calita's gang, Tanner knows that it was probably planted on behalf of Vauban. Vauban wants South Beach gone and the listening device can help track where South Beach is moving next when they are done with their operations in Nice. Calita's safety has been compromised and wants out of Nice as soon as possible.

A local repo gang is collecting one of the cars that Calita wants. The repo gang does not know the driver that is collecting this car and Calita makes use of this. She wants Tanner to follow the truck to where the car is being held and to bring the car back to their lockup with minimal damage.
