Bike: Honda 1994 XR600R

Issue: gas leaking out of float bowl over flow tube.

Cause: Stuck, jammed, or clogged float bowl.

I searched the 4stroke fourms and found out that the float bowl could get stuck or malfunction because of small particulates. I pretty much took the float bowl cover off, cleaned the float bowl, cleaned it with carb cleaner and reassembled and connected the gas to the carb......no more leaking....problem fixed. About a 2 months ago, the bike had the carb cleaned and new gaskets installed: so I was pretty aggravated that it would give me issues. But a simple cleaning helped out. Trying to keep the rubber gasket in the groove proved more challenging when reassembling. Anyways, bike is back up and running.
