The Farm Scale (Agricultural) biogas plants of HoSt are able to digest a broad range of biomass streams. These anaerobic digestion plants can be equipped with a combined heat and power plant that converts biogas to electricity and heat or with a biogas upgrading system with membrane technology to produce biomethane.

HoSt has designed and constructed numerous Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plants all over Europe. The HoSt biogas plant types are: Microferm manure biogas plants, Industrial biogas plants and Farm Scale biogas plants for the anaerobic digestion of agricultural products in combination with waste from the food industry.

HoSt also engineers, supplies and constructs biogas upgrading systems, biomass and waste-fired combined heat and power plants and biomass and waste boilers and gasifiers.
