How do you get easy steals in 2K22. The answer to that question will partially depend on rhythm and timing it will also partially depend on the opposite players ball handling skills. Another important factor to getting a steal in NBA 2k22 is spacing. If one defends too close and tries to steal they will be called for a foul more than likely. However, if one maintains a proper distance then their odds of getting the steel will go up due to how the animation is set up.
In addition to that what type of moves the player will make will be a factor as well if the circle is dotted odds of a steal go away up. To better answer this question we will look at the animation in slow motion and zoom in in gameplay as well as different replay angles. This will give one a good idea of what button to push and when in terms of timing. Also note that one can play defensive back with the steel button which is not shown here by simply pressing the square button as well and intercept a pass or at minimum deflect to pass. On a final note the steel button will not always work sometimes bad timing will cause fouls other times it may knock the ball loose but you may not get possession of it. Again defenders steal ratings which can be shown by pressing the control pad up during gameplay or another important factor.
