After 2 years of running the RT330 turbo on my 2014 mk7 fiesta ST I finally got it on a dyno..
*Description*
Ever since the turbo has been fitted, the oem ford boost solenoid, from time to time cannot handle the extra boost pressure when the turbo starts to spool, when this happens it momentarily overboosts and is always on max load on the engine so 3rd and 4th gear. when this happens the ECU see's the extra psi and cuts the fuel to stop it overboosting too much. this is why you can see the puff of black smoke in the 1st run, its the extra unburnt fuel being dumped from the ecu holding back from overboosting. If it wasnt for this little hickup on the solenoid then I shouldve got the 330hp im looking for. but that little bit of extra torque makes up for it
