The Bowser’s Fury final boss fight is a classic with an initial showdown against the big beat bruiser, followed by a clutch dash to finish him off. It isn’t easy, but it isn’t the most challenging final boss fight Mario has ever faced. However, it’s a lot of fun and the ending adds in a good amount of laughs, closing out the add on to Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury on the Nintendo Switch brilliantly. You’ll find out as soon as you resume your game that there’s more fun to be had and while this is the main final boss fight, it isn’t the last time you’ll have to put on the Giga Cat Suit and face off against Bowser in Fury mode.

There are bound to be plenty more Cat Shines to find with Bowser Jr., taking you to a few new places throughout the lake area. Collect enough of them and you’ll be able to 100% the game for another crack at the final boss showdown, which we’re expecting to be just as punchy.
