Installing mosaic tiles is not as hard as it seems. You are working with sheets, which are quite easily applied on the wall or floor. It comes in handy, however, to know what you are getting yourself into and particularly what kind of materials you are working with. We therefore want to show you a clear example of what a sheet with mosaic tiles looks like, using grey-green picket mosaics (PAPIC82) from the TMF Paris collection.
The Paris collection offers glazed porcelain mosaic tiles, suitable for use on walls. The mosaics are applied on sheets of 258x313 millimetres and have a joint of 3,5 millimetres. The tiles itself have a size of 48x195x6.5 millimetres. One box contains 10 sheets, which equals to 0,82m2 per box.
Picket mosaics can be installed both horizontally and vertically. If this is your first tiling project, we recommend placing these mosaics vertically: this is easier en causes less wastage. We also advise you to use a diamond blade and to avoid cutting these mosaics, since cutting can cause them to break.
