Hey Playgrounders! So this is our first all cutscenes, game movie in 4k! It was recorded in 4K resolution with everything maxed out. We took off the entire hud for this one, to make it as cinematic as possible. We're going to be putting out one or two 4K game movies a month, and will start a 4K playlist so you guys can keep track. For right now, we'll be doing mostly older games in Ultra HD, although some newer ones like Battlefield 1 we'll do in 1080p 60fps, and then do a more special cinematic edition in 4K a couple of weeks later. Hope you enjoy!

Marius begins his story as a soldier having just successfully completed his training, who is about to leave Rome to serve his duty in the relatively sedate II Legion, holding a post in peaceful Alexandria. Just before his deployment, he enjoys a return to his family in Rome and the adulation of his father Leontius, a former general and current member of the Roman Senate. Marius' visit is cut short by a barbarian incursion; a running battle through the streets of Rome results in the death of his parents and younger sister. Commander Vitallion, a friend and former comrade of the slain Leontius, transfers Marius to his XIV Legion, and promises Marius vengeance for his murdered family. This begins a tale of vengence, bloodlust and betrayal!
