Çapari was established in the historical quarter of Kumkapı, Istanbul, in 1966 and it is still run by its founders, a family of fishermen. They have many meze and seafood specialties that the connoisseurs will appreciate: fish feuilletées, fish quenelles, grilled squids, casserole of seashells, salt-baked sea bass, fish en papillote, fish gratin, ... Local customers love to accompany these dishes with "rakı", but quality Turkish wine and beer are also available.
