A handcuffed woman inside of a police patrol car was hit by a train after officers parked on tracks.

The body-camera and dashboard-camera footages from 17 September show police officers responding to a report of a road rage confrontation that involved a gun in Fort Lupton, US.

Colorado authorities detained the 20-year-old woman in a patrol car, which was parked on train tracks, and as they searched her pickup truck for weapons, the train hit the car.

The police officers then call for medical emergency assistance as they run towards the vehicle.
