In a press briefing organised by United States Vice President Joe Biden in honor of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, United States Secretary of State John Kerry addressed the media and said he was grateful to the Prime Minister for making this historic trip to India and that after the bilateral talks between the two nations, he was quite confident that the future diplomatic ties between the two nations will only become better. John Kerry drew analogies between the meteoric rise of the two heads of states namely Narendra Modi and Barack Obama and said he was happy to see the development of the Indian democracy which has come a long way to see a simple tea seller become the Prime Minister of one of the largest democracies of India. Even US Vice President Joe Biden expressed gratitude for Narendra Modi's visit to India and emphasized on his looking forward to a strengthened bilateral relationship between the two nations.
