The Russian Defence Ministry reported that 115 Ukrainian soldiers captured in the Kursk region and 115 captured Russian soldiers were exchanged.
In the statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that as a result of the negotiations, 115 Russian military personnel captured in the Kursk region were returned from the regions controlled by Kiev. In the statement, which shared the information that 115 Ukrainian soldiers were delivered in return, it was stated that the exchange was provided by the United Arab Emirates, which acted as a humanitarian mediator.
‘After the exchange, all Russian military personnel are in Belarus, where they have the opportunity to contact their relatives. The soldiers will go to Russia for treatment and rehabilitation.’
