Amid Nepal PM Prachanda's China visit, the two countries have signed 12 agreements, including seven MoUs, to enhance bilateral cooperation in various sectors. This includes trade and road connectivity. However, reports suggest Nepal has rejected calls from China to join President Xi Jinping's Global Security Initiative but agreed to take forward ambitious cross-border connectivity projects.
