My channel is all about teaching people to see the 8 wastes. Overproduction is the mother of them all.

In the end it took 3 trips. About 300meters each way through the hallways and stairwells. Times 2 because of there and back. about 1,500 Meters walked.

If I packed less, maybe it would have been 2 trips which would have been 900M.

What if it were just 1? It'd just be 300M

3 trips = 1500M
1 trip = 300M

Thats 5x the waste caused from 1 small change.

This is why Overproduction earns it's place as the Mother of all wastes because it creates all the others.
