It's been a long while since the last time I uploaded a classical (in the broad sense of the word) music record to my channel. Inspired by the recent upload of my friend Bob Wood (@ClassicsAndVinyl ), I decided to share this version of the music composed by Igor Stravinsky for the ballet "The Rite Of Spring", performed by the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Sir Georg Solti and recorded on May 14, 1974, at the Medinah Temple in Chicago. The LP was first released the same year by Decca Records.
Original Japanese pressing from 1975.
