The chairman of Kenya's electoral commission says presidential elections will go on as scheduled on Thursday. Wafula Chebukati made the announcement hours after the Supreme Court was unable to hear a petition filed by three human rights activists to cancel the elections due to lack of quorum. Chief Justice David Maraga said only two out the seven Supreme Court judges were available to hear the petition. The Supreme Court ordered fresh polls after the nullification of August 8th elections over illegalities and irregularities. Sarah Kimani reports.
