Visited Ein Gedi Nature Reserve- David Waterfall.
We had a fantastic time at the lowest point on earth- Dead Sea area. When you are visiting the Dead Sea and staying in one of the hotels for a couple of days, consider visiting historical Herodian palace-fortress — Masada. And of course the Nature Reserve- Ein Gedi - an oasis in the middle of the desert. This beautiful national park should be a part of your trip in the Dead Sea area. A peaceful oasis with beautiful hiking routes and a marvelous flora. The waterfalls offer wonderful photo motives, the various small falls invite you to take a bath and the different lookouts offer a wonderful view of the Dead Sea.
David Waterfall is considered one of the most attractive streams in the Dead Sea Lands.
It is named after the King David who hid for a while in “the strongholds of En Gedi” when King Saul was hunting him. (1 Samuel 23:29)
