In this video, Aaron gives a detailed overview of the new EF300 Leaf Plow and how to simply get started with yours today.
The Ventrac Leaf Plow is possibly the most straightforward attachment in our lineup and the most cost-effective addition to your fall cleanup fleet. Its sole purpose is to help move high volumes of leaves, quickly and efficiently. We were inspired to create the Leaf Plow for the commercial users who do high volumes of leaves but have problems getting by with traditional equipment.
When working with a blower, there comes a point where the leaf volume is too high, and the blowers cannot keep up. Often the blowers will create a wall of leaves too heavy that you cannot blow over or around. This is where the leaf plow comes into play. The Leaf Plow functions best moving large piles of leaves from point A to point B.
Blowers clear the ground with a clean sweep but get overwhelmed with high volumes of leaves. The Leaf Plow handles high volumes of leaves well, but it's not going to leave a clean sweep. Because of the need for a blower with the plow, this attachment is also designed to be able to run on the rear of a Ventrac so you can run them both in tandem.
The bottom of the plow is lined with poly bristles for the least amount of turf damage, while the rubberized containment wings keep leaves moving in the right direction. The expanded metal in the center of the plow allows for prime visibility of leaves you are working with and pushing.
If you have leaves to take care of, there is going to be a time in the fall where this attachment will change your world and how you manage those leaves. When there is a massive pile of leaves to push, you can push it with the Ventrac Leaf Plow.
