A school district in Missouri is reinstating corporal punishment as a punishment in schools. Parents will be asked to opt in their kids. And this is an actual quote from the school superintendent - "Parents have said 'why can't you paddle my student?” The School board claims that they’ve actually had parents thank them for bringing punishment. Younger students will be paddled twice and older students 3 times. Why is this country so weird?
