Ingredients:
6oz. fresh pear juice
1.5oz pressed ginger
2 cinnamon sticks
2 cups of water
2 cups of sugar
Recipe:
After juicing your fresh pears and pressing your ginger, bring your water to a simmer in a small pot. Once water is ready add sugar and whisk until dissolved. Add your pear and ginger juice, along with cinnamon sticks and allow to continue to simmer for a couple minutes. The next step is to turn down your heat to low to allow a slow infusion process for about 20 minutes or so. When the mixture tastes right to you allow the syrup to cool and pour into a cheater bottle or a vessel of your choice. Be sure to strain the mixture so no fruit bits or ginger fibers stay in your mix. Once bottled, ENJOY!
