Welcome to my Porsche classic car restoration project! In this video, we have a good look around my Porsche 914 classic car restoration project and I carry out a car rust check, so that I can plan what car repair work is required.

This project car is my first classic restoration, so I am learning a lot of new restoration and car repair skills! I’d always wanted to do a classic car restoration. Maybe I could have chosen a classic car that is less susceptible to car rust and also a cheaper car restoration project than a Porsche 914. By all accounts, Porsche restoration is more expensive than the average classic car repair because of a “Porsche Tax” on Porsche classic cars, where parts are always more expensive (presumably because suppliers think Porsche classic cars owners can afford it?) than for the average classic car restoration.
